“Don’t Make Me Stone You”

There’s a GOP candidate for state legislature in Oklahoma who just doesn’t like “the gays” very much.

Meet Scott Esk.

Scott Esk

Scott Esk is running for the Oklahoma House of Representatives and his number one policy position is? He thinks we should stone gay people to death. Yes, stone them. To DEATH. That’s his platform:

“That [stoning gay people to death] goes against some parts of libertarianism, I realize, and I’m largely libertarian, but ignoring as a nation things that are worthy of death is very remiss.”

This isn’t Pakistan folks. This is ‘Merika! We don’t stone people to death. Hell, we don’t even lynch people anymore! Our friends on the Republican side of the aisle have to stop with this crazy stuff. After George Will’s nutty comments, to Rick Perry yesterday saying gays are like alcoholics, to the moron out in Oklahoma: this is no way to live your lives.

Keep this crazy cracked-up, meth-induced stuff up and there will be more of this and less kid gloves coming from BNR.
