People are hungry for the truth about Hillary. More than 100,000 shares on this article tells me that people are tired of the lies and smears: Hillary Clinton Is One of the Most Ethical (and Most Lied About) Political Leaders in America.
As I said in the piece: Karl Rove, the Koch brothers, and billionaire conservative bank-rollers like Paul Singer have spent inordinate sums to paint a malignant picture of Hillary, using sophisticated propaganda techniques to render her toxic to the American electorate.
The media have dutifully aided the right’s smear merchants, relentlessly spreading the anti-Hillary narratives that infect the public debate. And Bernie Sanders has surfed that anti-Hillary wave, using the negative energy of Hillary haters to propel his campaign.
But the fact remains: No one has ever produced an iota of evidence that Hillary has behaved improperly because of a campaign contribution. No one has produced a scintilla of proof that there is a quid pro quo when it comes to her speaking fees. From Whitewater to Benghazi to her emails, nobody can point to a single instance of corruption or purposeful wrongdoing on Hillary Clinton’s part.
None. Zero. Ever.
Hillary is an upstanding, principled leader who has survived the most intrusive, invasive, aggressive and unending vetting process in political history. Time and again, she has emerged with her integrity intact.
In the words of the Des Moines Register, which endorsed her, “Clinton has demonstrated that she is a thoughtful, hardworking public servant who has earned the respect of leaders at home and abroad. She stands ready to take on the most demanding job in the world.”
If Bernie Sanders really is the revolutionary leader he claims to be, if he intends to bring honesty back to politics, tell the truth about Hillary. Tell America that all these attacks on her character are nothing but smears and innuendo. He knows it in his heart.
But he won’t do it – it will hand her the nomination.
