Shamelessness isn’t just a Trump campaign character flaw — it’s the official policy.

Boston-based talk radio host Howie Carr is riding high after a Trump rally in his original home state of Maine on Wednesday — when he mocked Elizabeth Warren by letting out a fake Native American “war whoop” sound.

And as Carr described it Thursday, he’s also got somebody backing him up: Donald himself, who has often gone on Twitter to insult Warren as “Pocahontas.”

In this little pep talk, Donald even cited the example of another man who got in trouble being a racist in public — and urged Carr to not make any of the same mistakes (as Donald sees it) by backing down.

“Whatever you do, don’t apologize,” Carr quotes Donald as telling him later on, during a flight aboard the “Trump One” plane. “You never hear me apologize, do you? That’s what killed Jimmy the Greek way back. Remember? He was doing okay ’til he said he was sorry.”

Apparently, Donald’s problem with racism isn’t actually when people say horribly offensive stuff — it’s only when people apologize for doing it.
